Monitor

You can't manage what you don't measure — radon is invisible.

★ Top pick DIY radon testing

Airthings Corentium Home Radon Detector

The Corentium Home is the simplest honest answer to "is there radon in my house?" — a standalone digital detector with no app, no Wi-Fi, and no per-test lab fees. It shows a short-term average after 24 hours and a long-term average that keeps refining. The tradeoff: it only measures radon, with no phone alerting — step up to a Wave Plus for CO2/VOC and notifications.

RADON · BATTERY · NO LAB FEES

Whole-air monitoring beyond radon

Airthings 2960 View Plus — Battery Powered Radon & Air Quality Monitor (PM, CO2, VOC, Humidity, Temp, Pressure)

The Corentium Home answers one question — is radon building up? This answers the rest of them. The View Plus adds a laser PM2.5 counter for cooking and wildfire smoke, an NDIR CO2 sensor for stuffy under-ventilated rooms, and a VOC sensor for off-gassing paint, furniture and cleaners — none of which the radon-only unit can see. It also has its own radon sensor, so it overlaps the Corentium there; think of the Corentium as the cheap dedicated radon logger and the View Plus as the whole-air picture. Honest limits: consumer CO2 and especially VOC readings are indicative trend data, not lab-grade numbers, and the device measures air — it does not clean it.

7 SENSORS: RADON + PM2.5 + CO2 + VOC + HUMIDITY + TEMP + PRESSURE · WI-FI + APP
